Purpose

Young Life is an inter-denominational Christian youth organisation, committed to evangelism and discipleship. It was founded in 1911 with the motto "The Utmost for The Highest", and has been used by God in the lives of countless people through the years. There are YL branches in various towns and cities of England, Ireland, Wales and Northern Ireland, which all run their own programmes.

Young Life branches aim to provide:

• Evangelistic programmes, seeking to reach the lost.
• A fellowship base where young Christians can meet regularly, and which provides a nurture group for new Christians and interested contacts.
• A platform for training and teaching in evangelism, the Christian life and things of the Bible.

Members believe the Bible, want to follow its teachings, be faithful to their local church and share the gospel with other young people.
